At Box to Box Academy, the safety and wellbeing of every child is our absolute priority. We are committed to creating a safe, fun, and inclusive environment for all players, parents, and coaches.

We follow The FA’s Safeguarding Children Policy, best practice guidance, and work in line with the England Football Safeguarding Standards.

Our Welfare Officer is the first point of contact for any safeguarding or welfare concerns. Parents, players, or coaches can reach out at any time in confidence.

Our Commitment

  • All coaches and staff hold an up-to-date FA Enhanced DBS Check.
  • All coaches have completed FA Safeguarding Training.
  • We promote the FA Respect Campaign, ensuring football is enjoyable and positive for everyone.
  • We have clear Codes of Conduct for players, parents, and coaches.

Reporting Concerns

If you ever have a concern about a child’s safety or wellbeing, you should:

    1. Contact our Welfare Officer (details above).
    2. If urgent and a child is at immediate risk, dial 999.
    3. You can also contact The FA Safeguarding Team via safeguarding@thefa.com or call 0800 169 1863.
