Do I Need To Pay Anything For The Trial?
No, your child’s free trial session is completely free of charge. There is no payment required to book or attend the trial.
How Do I Book The Free Trial?
You can book online in less than a minute using the Book Free Trial form. Choose your child’s age group and preferred day, then submit your details and we’ll take it from there.
What Should My Child Bring?
Your child should wear comfortable sports clothing and football boots or trainers, and bring a bottle of water. Shin pads are optional for the trial but recommended for regular sessions.
Where Are The Sessions Held?
Our sessions take place at our Wolverhampton training venues. Full details and directions will be included in your confirmation email. You can also learn more about our sessions on the Box to Box Academy homepage.
What Happens During The Free Trial?
Your child will take part in a regular training session with players from their age group. They’ll warm up, join in with coaching activities, and experience the Box to Box training environment first-hand.
Can Parents Stay And Watch?
Absolutely. Parents are welcome to stay and watch the session from the side. For many children, having a parent nearby helps them feel more comfortable during their first visit.
What If My Child Is Nervous Or Has Never Played Football Before?
That’s completely fine. Our coaches are used to supporting children of different confidence and ability levels. We work hard to make every child feel included, comfortable, and encouraged.
What If It Rains Or The Weather Is Bad?
We train in most weather conditions unless it becomes unsafe. If a session ever has to be cancelled due to weather, we will contact you directly and rearrange where possible.
Will I Get Feedback After The Trial?
Yes, after the session our coaches can provide a quick overview of how your child did, including areas of strength and development.
What Happens After The Trial?
If your child enjoys the session and it feels like the right fit, you’ll have the option to join one of our regular group programmes. Memberships run on a flexible monthly basis.
Do You Offer Sessions For Girls?
Yes. We have a dedicated Girls Only (Ages 7–12) programme run by FA-qualified coaches in a supportive environment.
